The fitout for an established Dublin engineering practice accommodated 2000 Sq. m. of office space in a speculative shell and core building. The client had outgrown its existing offices some years ago leading to a diaspora of staff over four offices in the Dundrum area.
The solution put forward allowed the individual departments to operate as units within an overall collective layout. This method allows various departments to intermingle in communal areas encouraging good staff relations. Additionally, a non hierarchical layout was adopted such that cellular offices were located in the centre of the plan, while staff benefited from perimeter desking arrangement
The project included the development of a brief with the client, interior studies, including lighting studies for key areas and the selection of materials tailored to the client’s particular requirements and budget.
