The project consisted of assisting ZarubegProekt LLC , a Russian based Multi Disciplinary firm  with the preparation of a proposal for augmenting and upgrading the  existing Embassy Facilities at Dublin. Our Services as  design team leader included  selection of an appropriate design team with appropriate skills, review of the brief, and delivery of a specific set of requirements which included  Planning Permission, Fire Safety Certification, Disability Access Certification as well as working with our colleagues in Russia to modify the initial designs as required to meet both current Russian and  Irish Building Regulations where appropriate. 
The accommodation brief included extensions and alteration to the existing Embassy building, construct ion of a new Consular Building, new staff and security accommodation to replace existing temporary structures as well as an underground car park required as part of the overall parkland landscaping of the site which is heavily planted with trees, which are noted  as being of significance in the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council development plan.
Resolved issues included conflicts between relevant building practices and regulations, as well as coordination of site services, new ESB Substation and utility connect ions  and attenuation of rainwater prior to connecting to existing external systems.
